I work for the City of Jackson Building Dept. I have been employed as a Plumbing and Mechanical Inspector for seven years. Can you tell me how the new State requirement will effect me. Can I be "grandfathered in" or will I have to take an ICC test for each?
Thanks,
Greg Rowland

You can download the application form from this web site.  The download includes the instructions for completing and submitting the form.  Note that as a currently employed inspector in Tennessee you do not have to submit your proofs of training for three years, but you must submit your application and fee July 1, 2008.  At the moment there is no penalty for filing late.  If you have not already done so, you would be wise to forward you application and fee immediately.
