Meeting called to order by President Mickey
Arp at 11:15 AM.

President Mickey Arp opened the meeting by thanking
everyone for attending |

|
Boomer Millen read the minutes from the October 11,
2007 meeting. Motion to approve, Steve Cook, second by Tony Allers.
Minutes approved. |
| |
|
Boomer Millen gave a treasurer’s report. Beginning
balance of $1,538.27. Two deposits made totaling $1,335.00. Withdrawal
of $73.61 to reimburse Ronny Douglas for the instructors dinner and
meeting breakfast and one for a $100.00 donation to Chattanooga Local
43. Leaving a balance of $2,699.66. The class generated $1,696.31.
Motion to approve Steve Cook, second by Steve Yunkers. Treasurer report
approved. |

Motion by Boomer Millen to pay outstanding bills and to
reimburse Steve Cook for the plaque for Judd
Matheny. Second by Steve Yunker. Motion approved. |

|
Past President Steve Cook gave a report on the
Certification Law. There was much discussion on certification testing
and recertification hours. Denny Boss stated that Ricky Harris with the
SFMO would speak on Tuesday morning at the TBOA conference regarding the
new law. |

|
President Arp will send an e-mail to Ferguson thanking
them for their assistance at the last class. |

New
Business:

|
President Arp appointed Steve Cook to chair the Code
official of the Year Committee and Dallas Rucker to Chair the Nominating
Committee.

|
President Arp discussed donating TPMIA’s training day
to TBOA for their use at this year’s conference. Several people
commented that TBOA had been very helpful in helping TPMIA to get
established and that they were very appreciative of TBOA. Motion to
donate the day to TBOA was made by Mickey Arp, second by Steve Cook.
Motion was approved. |

President Arp then gave a list of classes that TPMIA
would host at their conference in April. They are Natural Gas Appliance
Venting, Medical Gas, Basic Duct Design and Airflow, Basic Plumbing
Principles and Applications. |

Motion to adjourn was made by
Arp, second by Steve Yunker. Motion
approved.
